Celebrating World Environment Day on 5 June 2013
Around me are your blushes
painted with nature’s brushes.
Enjoying fruits of your trees
borne in swaying breezes.
A time of interesting ventures
you are my discovery quencher.
Today is a day of remembering
your beauty is worth celebrating.
I have borrowed you from the future
I shall mark you not with a suture.
Your nature wishes us perfect day
that we spend it without feeling grey.
May we stop creating your beauty
and start noticing it as a holy duty.
