World Children’s Poetry Day (WoChiPoDa) maiden celebration was on Saturday, 4 October 2014. Together with the Tanzanian poet and founder of Arusha Poetry Club (APC), Mr. George Kyomushula, we organised an event for children in Arusha, Tanzania. I could not make it to Arusha and therefore an audio salutation–in my mother tongue Swahili–to the children of Falcon Orphanage in Arusha was important.
