The Bromeliad Jig
Posted on May 29, 2016 by Gloria D. Gonsalves

I’ve to water
your heart.
A friend said
so did other experts.
On hot days
I’ve to dance.
For you
I learned salsa.
In a pot or not
we swirl.
Home or the floor
is our ballroom.
With my dancing partner:
Bromeliad.

Floral Resurrection
Posted on September 11, 2015 by Gloria D. Gonsalves

Poppies and daisies
wave to clear blue skies
day of purity and memory.
Daisies rave of yellow smiles
poppies chant of red dreams
wind stunned to calm breeze.
See me bloom with smiles
see me blush with dreams
I am your floral resurrection.

Fall Tapestry
Posted on September 11, 2015 by Gloria D. Gonsalves

A frisky Monday
gleamed in the sun.
The trees swayed to
melodic wind chimes.
The leaves rich of
golden moments.
Summer waved in
rich saffron hues.
We wriggled on
grand fall tapestry
